1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

• "Service" refers to the Thai massage treatments and related wellness services provided by velvetcalmvs.
• "User," "You," or "Client" refers to the individual booking or receiving our services.
• "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to velvetcalmvs and its authorized representatives.
• "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy.
• "Website" refers to the velvetcalmvs website accessible at velvetcalmvs.pro.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking our services, or receiving our massage treatments, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You agree to comply with all terms outlined in this document
• You have read and understood our Privacy Policy
• All information you provide to us is accurate and truthful

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

3. Service Description

velvetcalmvs provides professional Thai massage services at your location in Taipei, Taiwan. Our services include:

• Traditional Thai massage treatments using authentic techniques
• Herbal compress therapy for muscle recovery and relaxation
• Customized massage sessions based on individual needs and preferences
• Professional therapist consultations regarding your wellness goals

Service Availability: Our services are available throughout Taipei and select surrounding areas. Specific availability depends on therapist schedules and location accessibility.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any modifications or interruptions to our service offerings.

4. Booking and Appointments

4.1 Booking Process

Appointments can be made through our website contact form, email, or phone. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from our team. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation via email or SMS.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 24 hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling at no charge
• 12-24 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee or credit towards future service
• Less than 12 hours notice: Full session fee charged
• No-show: Full session fee charged

4.3 Rescheduling

You may reschedule appointments up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Rescheduling requests within 24 hours are subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee of NT$500.

4.4 Late Arrivals

If our therapist arrives late to your appointment, the full session time will still be provided. If you are not present at the scheduled location within 15 minutes of the appointment time, this may be considered a no-show and subject to our cancellation policy.

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Health Disclosure

You must inform us of any health conditions, injuries, allergies, or medications that may affect your massage treatment. This includes but is not limited to:

• Recent surgeries or medical procedures
• Cardiovascular conditions or high blood pressure
• Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy
• Skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities
• Chronic pain conditions or recent injuries

5.2 Location Requirements

For in-home services, you agree to provide:

• A clean, quiet, and private space for the massage session
• Adequate room temperature and ventilation
• Safe and accessible entry to the location
• Accurate address and contact information

5.3 Conduct

You agree to:

• Treat our therapists with respect and professionalism
• Refrain from inappropriate behavior or harassment
• Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during sessions
• Follow therapist instructions during treatment
• Communicate any discomfort during the session immediately

We reserve the right to terminate a session immediately without refund if any inappropriate behavior occurs.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$) and are subject to change without notice. Current pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking.

6.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash payment at time of service
• Bank transfer (payment required 24 hours before appointment)
• Mobile payment apps (LINE Pay, Taiwan Pay)
• Credit/debit cards (processed securely through our payment partner)

6.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are issued according to our cancellation policy outlined in Section 4.2. Refunds for prepaid services will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

No refunds will be provided for services already rendered, except in cases where the service quality did not meet our professional standards due to therapist error.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of velvetcalmvs and protected by Taiwan and international copyright laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any content without written permission
• Modify or create derivative works from our content
• Use our brand name, logos, or trademarks without authorization
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from our website using automated tools
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from our website

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service Disclaimer

Our massage services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While our therapists are trained professionals, we make no guarantees regarding specific health outcomes or therapeutic results.

8.2 Medical Advice Disclaimer

Our services are not a substitute for medical care. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide medical advice. You should consult with a qualified healthcare professional regarding any health concerns.

8.3 Results Disclaimer

Individual results from massage therapy may vary. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes, symptom relief, or health improvements. The effectiveness of massage depends on various factors including individual health conditions and consistency of treatment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Taiwan law, velvetcalmvs shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from undisclosed health conditions
• Injuries resulting from failure to follow therapist instructions
• Delays or service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)

Our total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless velvetcalmvs, its therapists, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms & Conditions
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Inappropriate behavior towards our staff
• Repeated no-shows or late cancellations

Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. All provisions of these terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan, Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Taipei, Taiwan.

12.3 Informal Resolution

13. General Provisions

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and velvetcalmvs regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

13.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these terms or your rights under them without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms without restriction.
